The Story, Y’all

Po’ Man Grill is owned by Wes and Emily Cumbie of Loachapoka, AL. Can cookers have been a tradition in the south for a long time. Wes started eating off of a can cooker in the oak hammocks of Florida at his dad’s hunting camp when he was just a boy. Once he became an adult, Wes began making a few grills a year in his barn as gifts for friends and family. A friend from out West came to Alabama to hunt, and after eating ribs and chicken off the Po’ Man, he encouraged them to take this product to the masses.

After the sale of an old hunting truck, Po’ Man Inc. was formed. Low and behold, a lot of Americans don’t want to  spend hundreds on a grill to fit in with the fancy pants.   They just want a grill that cooks great food to share with family and friends without a ton of hassle or expense.
